Default Euromeister 17" Fuchs Replicas - Feedback?

I currently have a set of 951 16" 7/8 Fuchs on my 944 and wanted to poll the forum regarding 17" Euromeister Fuchs replicas. I was considering selling the 16's I have and upsizing to these as I want to keep the Fuchs styling. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with these? Not planning on tracking them but regular street use anticipated.

Any input appreciated.

My son-in-law has a set and they look great. He has only had them for a year, so there isn't any long term info. I'll see if he will post some pic's .

posts on the various 911 forums so far have been very complimentary. like you, i'm considering them, but for my '87 Carrera.

How much do the 17" replicas cost, and what's the street value of the genuine 16" ones?

Says 944 83-86 except turbo. Any ideas why?

Hmm, apparently they will rub the caliper of the 951.

17's rubbing the caliper?! Ummm...how? I've heard of certain 15's that will fit over turbo calipers with a tiny bit of metal moving on the caliper...

Skeptical...regardless of that I would love to replace my 17 turbo twist reps with 17 Fuchs reps.

I think the issue is that if you look at the inside of the "petals" of the 951 specific Fuchs, they are carved out more compared to the 911 part# Fuchs that they use as the donor centers.

Several years back I posted comparison photos of the differences between the two versions but I can't find them now.

get 18" fuchs. there's very poor 17" tire availability.

I know everyone is different and has different opinions, but I think the 944 series cars don't look right with anything bigger than 17's. Just my opinion though!
