Unhappy Need help ASAP!

Hey all! I visited the mechanic today to pick up my car and he informed me that all of the passenger rear lights were out. Brake lights, parking lights, reverse lights, everything. Anyone know what could be causing this? I have to get this fixed so I can get the car inspected. If I have to take it down and get it inspected in Marlyand its going to cost an arm and a leg. Thanks!!

See Sid Viscous' signature. Check the ground in the rear spare tire area.

Inform your mechanic that he broke it so he can fix it.

So, your front parking lights are working?

On my car the left side parking lights are on one fuse, the right side are on the other.

I assume you checked all the fuses, right?

Check bulbs too...never know. If it is just the rear lights, check the ground (inside the trunk, just below the light assembly). Good luck.

There is a fuse for one side. But I agree it's probably a loose wire in the rear area. Turn on the parking lights and pull the light assembly. (It's not hard) then start fiddling and looking. Should stand out pretty quick.

When I learned troubleshooting in The Corps the instructors always said "Don't eye f*ck it" since then I have learned about 75% of the time you can see the problem pretty quick.

Well, the front passenger parking light isnt working either. I only had it for a half hour when I drove it from the body shop to the mechanic.

Ah, body shop. I've had a few cars have misc wires loose/cut after leaving the body shop.
