Let me know if a source is found for just the vents, I'd like to put one or two on my hood. Also, the 968 IC vent if available separate iss an option for me too. TRG had no options of putting ventsd in my hood for me. Thanks

NACA vents are designed for plus MACH numbers. Just how fast do you plan on going?

If you want efficent sub sonic intakes look at the bottom scoop on a P-51.

Try this place. http://www.carbontrix.com/ . I bought the hood vent for my race car (the one like the 968 turbo RS) to vent the intercooler air ... but have not installed it yet. Very nice quality.

Yea again its a good, site, I have a source for all different size NACA ducts, my friend does a few, but their are all kinds... Really need a feel for the stock size in like the 924 turbo and so on.... Since I dont have one to measure....

The center piece on that sight is similar in size and function to the 968 but not a match... would work though...

Does anyone sell the 968 IC center scoop? savage, do you plan to make them separate?

Well that is undesided Nine-44, if their is a genuine demand for just the center scoop, we might make them seperate. We will be sourcing atleast one to do the next mold.

Remember the first mold is for the OEM Hood, then I will modify my hood and the other or maybe another after that will serve as the protoype for the vented hood.

So far looks like their will be both a OEM style hood and a vented hood available.

The NACA vents are easy, the 968 IC scoop is a little more difficult, I believe we will be looking at doing something that is functional and follows the general form of the 944.

I do believe we will end up with a scoop that is larger than the 968 scoop.. as the hood area of the 944 is larger as is the nose section between the lights. SO if we can do up a scoop that follows with in the lines... or fabricate something we are their.

I am not in the fiberglass biz, so as to things like the scoop, I guess form and function are important, but so is R&D vs. demand for production...

Send me a email or pm and some contact info and we can talk about what you really want and then I can put that with everything else I have recieved.

I believe the scoop by itself is do-able.

Question is how many other people want just the scoop. Maybe we can come up with some design ideas based on what you want plus the other ideas I have and have recieved.
