Default Brought home a sweet 924S DE car - pics

Just picked up this 1988 924S a couple weeks ago. I'm supposed to go to Road Atlanta later this month for a Driver's Ed and I think I might drive this on Hoosiers as opposed to the 968. It has a strong motor that was recently rebuilt and came with a big stack or receipts!

Great deal on that car, saw it on Pelican. Congrats.

Anyone know where that header panel is from, or maybe custom?

I drove the car this morning and everything feels excellent. I really like it Very nicely built and the list of aftermarket parts is pretty impressive for a 924s!

Will, the header panel is made by Paul from CCP Fab down in FL.
He usually keeps a fresh supply of his parts up on ebay too.

Super jealous.

I'd sell my left nut for those side mirrors...

Was that Jon H's old car by chance (out of Ohio)? If so Ive seen it up close and he did a really nice job of building it.

Yep - his car. He did a great job! Just wish it had some Racers Edge stuff on the front control arms

You know how that goes I've got the 968 up for sale so I might be driving it for a while. I miss boost - we'll see what happens. I should just build a 16v turbo motor out of this S2 block and put it in the 924S and have fun on the Road Atlanta with the expensive 911 guys!
