Has anyone still got that photo shop of the rear hatch Thadeous was going to try? It looks quit conservative actually, not Flashy, bling bling or Rice at all if you ask me. It seems to follow the natural lines of the 944. Just because it looked similar to the lines of a Honda Del Sol, I assumed it would get that kind of rotten tomatto treatment. But why is it that anytime someone even sugests something, it gets bombarded as something wretched. "An original idea? BLASHPEMY!" Type of aditude. Think about this for a second, if someone at the porsche design table never conjured up a new idea to try, or ever wanted to radically change something, we would never have water cooled front 4cyl porsches in the first place. Then we wouldn't even be having a debate about whether it was a sin to think about chopping the top or adding a triple wing and neon ground effects to a 944. It (choping a 944 top) would take allot of effort and it would be something original, not the all to common rice stuff thats carbon fiber/carbon copy, bolt on/ glue on, Look at me and my fart can and stickers, stupid Rice crap. Besides, it's not "rice" that sucks, it's the mentallity of stupid drivers that suck. C'mon everyone, lets give constructive advice, not just shooting it down b'cause you don't like it.

Have you ever heard of someone shopping a car to INCREASE re-sale value. Aint gonna happen. ANd I don't see how making the pillars shorter makes them weaker.

Sid I think It would look cool - I've thought about it before too...I'll see what I can do about photoshopping it, though I'm a hack at photoshop...
