Default Chopping a 944

Been thinking about this, talked about it in Burlington. And tool time just showed a chopped 46 Ford.

Anyone ever do this (doubt it) any of you socal guys knwo a shop that would do it (just curious no way I can afford it) Any inherent problems other than the rear hatch glass.

I think it would make the 944 even better looking.

I look at the car and the body is low slung but the roofline extends out of proportion. I don't know why you guys thing this is a bad idea.

Can any of you photoshop guys do it with the equivalent of like 2 inches of lowered roof.

the 944 cab has a 2" lower front window, so I bet It would look like a Cab with the top up. I like the look of the Cab.

Pretty ugly? I mean for the most part it would have the same lines. I'm not talking about one of those drastic chops with a 4 inch windshield. Just a couple of inches.

Dunno it might not be so bad, I like the old 40's and 50's American cars chopped (if it's a good job). Local guy drives an old chopped VW but It's a DIY job looks okay but doesn'r flow well.

If I had a "money is no object" appearance mod I think i would do a one piece CF hood/nose/fender.

I don't know Sid, it would just have to be one of those things that I would have to see to tell if I liked it or not. It just doesn't put a good picture in my mind.

Put your seat back. I'm 6 foot and got like 4 or 5 inches (without a helmet though)

I really like the look of chopped fieros... I like the looks of them normally, but I think it looks much more exotic when its chopped.
