Default Name this vacuum hose?

Hey, I accidentally unplugged this vacuum hose. One end (b) hooks into the white 3-way adapter which is to the left of the brake booster, and I don't know where the other end (a) goes.

Where does (a) go?

Ok ill look for that ac auxiliary valve. Ive got a turbo if it makes a difference. If anyone can look on their 944 where this line goes, it would really help. Thanks RL. Todd needs a home!

I've searched the net, but I still don't know where this plug goes. The hose is a little over a foot long and so it wont reach behind the airbox. Ive looked around and I cant seem to find anywherenit should be. Can someone with a turbo please take a look?

That does help, thanks. I found that it connected to a "Y"-connector. Which had a hose running through the firewall to the battery area and beyond, and another connecting to a metal insert on the firewall.
