Default Stolen Racecar trailer/Car - Arizona

From the 928 Forums - Keep your eyes open while you are out and about this weekend.

_____________________________________________________

I just was notified that my racecar trailer (with the racecar inside) was stolen from my parent's home in Scottsdale last night.

If you see a white, 28 ft. Haulmark racecar trailer, AZ license L15353, Serial Number 16HGB24211A001676, with black decals [928 and 928 profile] on the upper rear outside corners, please notify the police immediately.

The race car is a white, 1979 928 Porsche, VIN 9289101577. It has German flag decals on the door and hood. Decals include 928 International, 928 Specialists and Devek.

If you have any information, please call me at 480-688-8125.

Thanks,
Rich Andrade

Man, sorry to hear that. I feel for you. Years ago, my buddy Lee had a track car, trailer, and tow vehicle all stolen at one time in AZ as well. I hope it turns up soon and unharmed.

Do you have a picture of the trailer? I doubt the bastard will haul it around on the 101, but just in case it wouldn't hurt to have a better sense of what it looks like.
You might want to post in the track and autoX forums, since that's probably the only place the guy could run it, cuz it's probably not street legal.
Also contact powerhaus, technodyne, exotic motorworks and similar shops in the valley. They guy might be stupid enough to take it there.

F#@k another damn thief. I wish we can have a "shoot on sight" law in place for some of these bastards. I get soooooo frustrated when I hear something like this. I feel your pain man. Let me know if there is anything I can do. I will check local papers for people selling parts or whole cars and if I see anything suspecious, I will let you know. Posting a picture of the trailer will also help us ID this guy. I believe the 928 world is a small one and we WILL find this F*#ker.

And you'd spend more time in prison than he would for GTA.
And the civil suit would end up costing you more than the car you stopped him from stealing.

Thieves are not even humans in my book! They’re pathetic losers who couldn’t make it on there own and pride themselves with enjoying other people’s property that they worked hard for. I think stronger laws are in order to stop thieves!!

Middle eastern laws of chopping their hands off? Maybe after a couple of televised reality tv choppings, 100s of thousands of thefts would stop making this country a better place to live. At least we should get some kind of caning law like singapore.

That really sucks, I don't know if he posts on here, but a local PCA member here in SD, recently had 4 cars stolen out of his garage at home.... including 3 928's that he owned... All of the 928's have been recovered and purchased back from the insurance company, but I know how hard that must be.... good luck finding the lost car....
