Default Rennbay ball joint replacement kit for aluminum control arms?

I've read various things, mostly good, some failures. Although the failures seem maybe to have been earlier kits that used different parts than are currently used.

Anyone have any problems with the current kits?

I imagine for most control arms that are 20+ years old, the Rennbay kit is a huge improvement.

When I installed them, it was like night and day difference.

Don't those kits now come with longer pins to correct the geometry on lowered cars?

They used to have those on their website but now the standard kit they offer is the OEM length. I think they still carry to longer pins but last time I inquired about them the price was pretty high...around $350 a set.

I went ahead and ordered them, will install next week. I could try and do a writeup if anyone is interested (although it comes with instructions and a Youtube video that seems fairly straightforward).

I just redid my ball joints with this kit. Pretty straight forward. I realized I had bigger problems on my hands so I have yet to experience the end product. You might beat me to it.

I've raced with the longer and heaver ball joints pins for the last 7 years. No problem. However, to use the heavier ones you will need to have the steering knuckles machined.

I have been driving with the polybronze bushing version for over a year now with no issues. Very straightforward installation.
