Seafoam is an unholy mixture of all kinds of organic solvents like toluene, acetone, iso-octane, and a bunch of others. It'll probably give you cancer, but boy does it work! All the crap that comes out of the motor after that stuff is sucked up into the intake manifold (usually via the brake booster) is carbon deposits.
