Factory turbo cam works the same way as upgraded 944 turbo cam. There would be no benefit on turbo since no artificial lag is designed in turbo cam.

On n/a, you can simply drill an extra hole in factory cam for cable anchor, and turn it upside down.

there may be no 'artificial lag' built into the 951 cam (if that's accurate), but i would love to have an improved throttle. the pedal throw on my car seems so excessive - i feel like i have to bend my foot almost flat forward to floor the damn thing. never experienced it that bad on any car in the past and i've had a few. maybe my cable tension needs tightening?

I got my throttle cam last week and installed it in mere minutes. It makes a world of difference in how my 944 drives!

OK so I have never driven a car with the modefied Throttle Cam so please do not flame me. But theoreticly there should be no difference then just pushing your foot a little bit further down on the peddle.

+1 on LA traffic. It's completely incomprehensibly bad and you'll never know it until you've commuted for at least 1 month in it. "Rush hour" is basically from 6-11am and 2-9pm.

True, but it just feels a lot nicer when you don't have to push that far to get a lot of throttle reaction.

Barely touching the gas pedal is sufficient for starting up hills and stuff, with the standard cam you have to dig into it for any hope of moving.
