Default Got back from vacation

So i take the cover off my car and start her up, she stalls the first time, then fires right up. I drive her around the house into the garage. Next day i lift her and check balance belt tightness (just got the little tool) and i changed the driver's side control arm. Put it back together (keep in mind that i really didn't fiddle with the engine), and now she doesn't want to start. And this really sucks cause now i have to hitch a ride with a coleague to work tomarrow cause the damn thing is being stupid. I checked the obvious like blown fuses, but nothing, this would be my first eletrically related problem since owning the car.

Did you unplug the AFM when you checked the balance belt? On NA's it's hard to get the front cover off without removing the air cleaner and the AFM. Check to see if it's plugged in tight. Also check plug wires and distributor cap.

Well i've gotten so good at doing that belt procedure now that i don't even take the afm or air box out, it's much quicker for me that way. I'm going to go through the distributor, wires, spark check, and fuel check tonight. It's not even trying to start, so i'm going to be going through a lot of trouble shooting tonight.

Don't know, how do you check relay's to see if they're bad? Is it described in the factory manual cause i haven't even had the time to look through it?

I would first check the condition of the battery since you had problems when you drove it to the garage. I would then check to see if the fuel pump was getting voltage. Lastly, i would check to see if you are getting spark.

Fixed, turned out to be "or at least i think at the moment" loose wiring to the fuel pump. Thanks for all the replies.
