Another thing to check is the throttle linkage cable

I had a problem like this caused by a clogged fuel filter

While it's in neutral, rev the engine via the throttle cam, so you can eliminate the linkage as a possibility.

If it's still there, it could be TPS (of course, everyone else has made great points too and it could be any of those). But start simple!

I had a very similar issue on my old N/A several years ago. It even did the same thing with running fine at first then undriveable by the time it warmed up, turned out to be a bad AFM. Not saying that's your issue too, but it's another thing to look at for diagnostics.

UPDATE: it turned out to be the catalytic converter. Had it fixed a few months back and been running great since.

Outstanding. I replaced my old cat with a magnaflow and the car responded like it found another gear. Much better acceleration, although the exhaust now has a bit of a "crackle" in it.
