How would you paint your b-pillar? That's the whole rear panel.
A-pillar maybe?

A-Pillar = between windshield and front edge of door window
B-Pillar = between rear edge of door window and rear quarter window
C-Pillar = between rear quarter window and hatch

I did this with mine. I'll see if I have a picture on my laptop tonight. Super easy to do.

lets see... however I think technically its still in the "black" category.

I mean if you were going to repaint a car, would you paint the B pillar to match the car or not??

I like black better.
Does anyone know if all B pillars get painted (in the cars colour) at the factory ?

AFAIK, all 944s had black matte b-pillars, and on 968s it was an option to have it painted body color. All my 944s have had black pillars. My 968 has black, but my last one was body color.

In the auto industry, it's common practice to paint middle pillars black to blend with the windows and give the illusion that the car is not as tall.

My opinion? I'd choose matte black, but wouldn't change whatever is on the car. Maybe just black plastidip.

Guess I never considered the door frame the b-pillar and never noticed a body color one. I have a black car so naturally the black molding, it just kind of blends in.

You could paint the A, B and C pillars black to get that ultra sexy AV1 look.

They don't make sex appeal like that anymore...

Aren't the b pillars integrated in the doors and are not removable?

Correct. The "visual" B pillar is on the door; the structural one on the chassis.
