I think the J35/J37 would be a great swap... Very common (Honda put them in everything), very compact motor, light weight, 250-300hp, reliable, good economy, performance aftermarket, etc.

If the adapter could be made to push the motor forward 3-4 inches, it would probably clear the brake-booster. And there should be plenty of room to push the motor forward.

Has anybody actually done the aforementioned S2000 engine swap? I'd seriously be into one if I had the space for a project car..

The big Honda V6s are killer engines too. Our Odyssey has been dead reliable towing the boat and family, fully loaded literally to the roof, been to the dump carrying nearly two tonnes of concrete.. You can get 1000hp out of them too so no shortage on power.


Edit: Just realized I revived an old dead post, s**t. Honda swaps still a good idea though!
