Default I'm lazy and I need a lazy mans answer

So I got my lindsey 3" exhaust on. Finally!! Only problem is the s pipe is only about 1/4" from the rear sway and every now and then from a take off I get a clank when it hits it.

I could take the s pipe off and take it to a muffler shop and have them squeeze it down but that would require more work than the lazy man wants to do. Though it is the right thing to do. So with the pipe on the car what kind of redneck engineering could I do to squeeze the top of the pipe at the sway bar to gain 1/4". Without destroying anything of corse.

The lazy man awaits your reply.

Turn up the radio so you can't hear the clunk?

Remove the sway bar?

Seriously, could you pinch it down a little bit with a C-clamp?

I thought about this, but I cant get the clamp on top of the spot I need to clamp without removing the pipe. At that point I'm at the muffler shop.

I give this an 8/10! it will work until a day comes and I need to take off the pipe, but some how I don't like the pipe hitting at all. But not a bad solution.

Wedge a high temperature rated rubber between the pipe and sway bar and you're set!

Ok, my lazy idea: Got an old torsion bar or something similar?
Raise the rear of the car and put it on jack stands.
Wedge the bar between the swaybar and exhaust.
Put a 2x4 on your jack, and jack against the exhaust until it ovals or dimples a bit.

No warranty expressed or implied.
May cause blindness or **** leakage.

Lazy man likes this. Lazy man gives 9/10. One question. When I push up on pipe which pushes on torsion bar which pushes on sway bar. What is sway bar pushing up against and will it damage it?
