NY tri-state drive
With the weather changing and the leaves in the USA NE region, I was thinking it'd be a great time of year to do a drive. Find some back roads and go for a cruise.
I personally live in the NW NJ(warren county) and know a bunch of local roads that are great for driving as well as some good eateries for lunch or an early dinner. I've got a few roads in mind that would end up nearer to NYC if not up into CT.
I will post this in off topic as well to grab as many people as I can as well as diversity of Porsche's and whatever else people may want to bring.
Dates: October: 13 or 27
November: 3
so provided the NE doesn't get a freak storm of the century(sandy) or a freak October snow storm(2011) we should be good.
so lets get a preferred date as well as people that want to go.

I want to try and make to CT, but don't know many eateries outside of Stratford, so if you know of somewhere good, with a decent parking lot, throw the idea out

27th of October is the date
as far as route, i'm working on this tonight and tomorrow. I have a 4 day weekend coming up and i'll use one of the days to research the route checking for closed roads, hazards or whatever else may cause a hiccup.
I will say, that right now, it's starting point is in Warren County, NJ. it's about(early sunday mornings) 1 hour from NYC. as the run goes on it will head towards ny and the city, so if you not wish to drive all the way out, you can meet at stopping/vantage points along the way.
I've got about 20 cars as of now.
and as I see it from other sites, evidentially the season is just starting for me, this will be the 2nd thing I've done this year.
