I would like to know if there ie a reasonable alternative to a Nippon denso AC unit for a 924s.

Or a good place I can purchase a reasonably briced used unit- non working ok, just need good bearings to put serpentine belt back on....

Hmm If you do not want AC. I think there are ways of getting around it.. I myself can not help you but go to archives and look at threads there.. or may perhaps some one here can give you the info on getting the necessary equipment to remove the ac all together. welcome to rennlist.

I just removed mine, it may still work. It spins freely if you just want the bearings. If you want it make me an offer S&H from 78247.

you can order the bearing from any auto parts store. just take it out and read the part number on the bearing. I did that ansd so far it has held up. Including my move from KY to to TX. Not a single problem. That is the cheapest option for ya. One word of caution though. You will have to more than likely shim the bearing as it looks like the part number has superceded and part updated.

Good luck
