Looks good man! I love black cars, I just can't keep them clean.

Is that you in the pic?

Thanks. That is me. I was at a show close to the house with both my 944 and my Jeep.

Where did you get those clear corners?

Also, that makes two lt1/shaved/tucked 944's! I'm going to a gt racing front end soon though.

My shaved bumper might be up for sale if anyone is interested.

found the clear corners on ebay long long ago...I think from the same company that sells a lot of clear 951 stuff, don't know who they are anymore though.

And I look forward to seeing pics of the GT Racing front end

I have the shaved bumpers as well, though mine are not tucked in. I like it just the same.

I just got backed into yesterday while I was sitting in the car!!

Luckily I haven't gotten around to the bodywork side of the snub nose yet so I couldn't even tell if it did any damage or not (it's covered in stone chips). My shocks are drilled too but I didn't have them pushed in so the car that hit me just pushed the bumper in all the way.

I flipped out when I saw it happening but the old man was super nice so I told him not to worry about it.

Anywho, just figured I'd share that experience. Had he hit me going faster than 1mph it may have done some damage to the front end so everyone should keep that in mind before drilling the shocks.

I like those too!

I just had the old brittle mounting plastic on one of mine snap when putting the bumper back on yesterday. Looks like the car has a toothless smile now with just one signal in. I'll probably pick some clear lenses up when I replace the black mounting ring.

They can be found here btw:

It's a good job you kept your shocks intact. I'm surprised nobody bought this up in this thread but with your shocks drilled and pushed back your frame will take all the impact of a bump. Even with the Euro bumpers that are further back there is some frame protection from the collapsible mounts.

Without the US bumper shocks a mild hit at the back could be a total loss. At the front the frame is easier to pull out but still its frame damage and you will always have "ripples" in the frame repair.

Lol, yes I guess it's a moot point. Most of us would rather be in a small attractive sports car on roads full of ugly trucks and SUVs that could easily destroy us with their tailpipes
