If it is anything like my '83, then you'll have to remove your starter to get to it. Which is directly under the car.

It's very easy if you do it my way.
1) Drive to mechanic
2) Say "I bled the brakes, but can't get to the clutch..."
3) Go back later and give him a credit card
HTH...but I know better

You can access it with the starter in place, but it is difficult. I just used an open ended wrench and reached up there from under the car. It was a 7mm on my car. Just be careful to not touch the starter wire end with the wrench or you will get some sparks!

I ended up having to get a Motive pressure bleeder to bleed the system. A speed bleeder valve also helps.

Good Luck!

Removing the starter is exceedingly easy.

Thaddeus,
Not hard to do. Did it last week.
  • Disconnect the battery juice so you don't short anything.
  • Disconnect the power from the starter.
  • Remove the bolts for the starter. 17mm wrench.
  • I think the bleeder is like an 8 mm. Be carefull when you torque it down, though, it's really easy to snap off. Doh!
Good luck!
