If it is the oil pressure sender or you just want to replace it just because, do so with an Porsche sender. I replaced mine with an aftermarket sender and it immediately caused the gauge needle to jump all over the place. Factory sender cured it.

I wish it were just an instrumentation issue. I sounds like there's no oil pressure.
