Second oil change yesterday. Now this morning no oil pressure. Shut down pulled dme relay cranked no oil pressure. Going to pull Oprv tonight.

Kevin..looks like we're on the same page too.. And you're right one thing leads to two others all of which need to be replaced, either because they're missing or just worn out. Mine's an 83 undergoing a lot of changes and updates just to return it to driving condition. At least you've done some homework.. There's a guy on E-Bay that sells polyurethane bushings for the power steering rack if you're interested. Mine fit very nicely,but they're for a manual rack..I'm in New Hampshire, but a Texan by birth and history..Amarillo/allas guy...still have lots of friends down there.Thanks, Tiger 03447

Nice to hear there are others keeping these cars going! I went entirely through the motor over the past spring and summer. It's been perfect! This oil pressure issue is totally out of left field.

+1 on the rack bushings I have them and they do improve feel over the busted rubber ones it had.

Still no oil pressure! Damnit crank bolt is tight too. Put the flywheel lock in and a breaker bar. It kinda popped when I was pushing with both legs. Don't know if that's anything or not

I wish you the best on the trouble shooting. I recently bought an 87 out in Austin and drove it back to SE Houston. I'm working my way though a number of items. Because I'm a bit new to the 944 I'd love to see and hear yours when you have it back up and running. It will help me get a bit smarter. PM me if your interested.

Have you checked the pressure with a mechanical gauge? You may have a bad sending unit.

This is what I was thinking too. Have a hard time believing you would just lose oil pressure.
