Anybody with experience chipping your 944 S2 please chime in. While I'm at it, K&N? I installed my new Brey Krause strut brace and getting my Big Reds today.
Is there a MAF change I heard about or a throttle body swap?

There are a few off the shelf chips but if you really want the best you need a custom tune. BEHE Performance is now a site sponsor and tunes almost all the 944 Cup race cars here in the NE and also certifies the 944 Cup DME's. John really knows what he's doing when it comes to tuning these cars. It maybe a little drive but WELL worth it if you want the best. If you don't want to go that extreme I have had good luck with my FR Wilk chip in my street car.

I have installed a Maxhpkit (http://www.maxhpkit.com/) chip in my wife's S2 track car. I had already done cams, header and exhaust so this chip is for this set up. They can do this or a chip for a stock car.
I had talked to Vitesse, they have a MAF conversion that is expensive. Rogue is working on a MAF that I expect will be more reasonably priced.

My .02 worth....before you make a decision check out Rogue Tuning and see how close Josh is to finishing the S2 version of the NA-tune.
Search N-tune and or NA-tune here.
BTW his tests showed no improvement on the 2.5 NA by adding a K&N filter, glad I got mine for free.

So Josh's tune includes new cams? How much power can new cams add? Or is it more that the cams spin up faster? Looking for the best, cost wise as long as its below the cost of the Speed Force Racing supercharger I'll do it. If not I'll just go with a SFR supercharger.
Any and all option will be considered as long as the car is still drivable in everyday traffic. This is not a track car, but it needs more power. getting passed by minivans on the highway just sucks ***.

By the way, if you're really looking for power stay away from the supercharger, especially considering the low hp figures they're showing for it.
If you really want to make some heat, you're going to need cams, have the head re-worked, bigger injectors, and a tune. You'll easily be at 250whp probably more, and it's way cheaper than that sfr kit and the labor to install it.
