i have a question about some wording on the window sticker of my 85. the sticker itself is self explanatory however included is a smaller sheet stating additional equipment added by the dealer. this sheet has two add on's listed as:

- D&H
-Appearance Group

i assume D&H is delivery and handling.. but i'm confused as to what the appearance group is. i have no additional stickers or stripes on the body (thank God). there wheels were not painted a color other than what they were originally painted. is the appearance group the addition of the rear 944 logo and the PORSCHE sticker below the tail lights? i thought that those markings were standard fare. just trying to decode some originality in my car. here are some pics for clarification:

Floor mats , trunk mat???

did not have floor mats or a trunk mat when i bought it, but who's to say that the car didn't originally come with either..

So on top of the $578 for the destination charge, the dealer got another $700 for delivery & handling. Both seem the same. Moving the car from the port of entry to the dealership.

Appearance Group is dealership specific. Could be lots of little things such as carpet/fabric protector (3M), special, space age paint proctection, etc. Another rip off expense by the dealership.
