Basic clutch kit (disc, pressure plate and release bearing) will be <$700 for Sachs components. We normally advise doing a clutch accessory kit that will run roughly $80-$120 depending on whether you need the release bearing fork shaft.

944 PRO mechanic with all skills and NO additional car faults, about 15 hours labor. Finding a "skilled" and honest mechanic wanting to do a clutch may be difficult.

Additional items could include the clutch slave, clutch master, hydraulic lines +++

Several independent P-Car shops in my area quoted me $2,800-$3,400 to do a 944 clutch job.
