Default 86 944 no start

Yes another no start thread but a search shows nothing like this

Try and start, engine just turns over. Open hood and at back of engine is a bracket holding 2 plug in almost exactly in the center. Wiggle those and car starts. Shut down car and it starts immed but wait 1 hour same no start.

Do these connectors plug to likely some sensor that can be replaced?? Any info appreciated.
What are they??
By the way new DME relay had no effect. 96k miles.

Replace your sensors (speed/reference). Either your DME to sensor plug is heat stressed and the internal wiring is bad at the connectors, or the connectors @ the bracket to the 2 sensors are bad.
