Default door handle locks

So it was freezing out a couple days ago and I went to open my door only for my driver side door handle to break off.

I was wondering the best way of fixing this while still keeping the key I have. Is there a way to buy a new handle and replace the lock on it?

If so, does anyone know where I can find a guide. I tried looking online but couldn't find instructions.

Thanks in advance!

Here is a recent thread on a similar case : https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...-question.html

In other words, you can easily use your old lock in a new handle

or just replace the trigger- find an ebay handle with a good piece- early vs. late have different lock setups though so beware.
