I'm making a ChumpCar/Lemons racers. For those that don't know, that's a race car with a $500 value.

Here's what I'm starting with. Luckily, I don't think I overpaid.

Looks like I have some pressure washing and some serious disassembly in my future!

I just pressure washed 1/2 the car.

I'll need a front bumper piece and a headlight cover.

Congrats! I am trying to get a couple of guys at work to jump on board the crap can thing. Looks like it will be a blast!

I think I might actually have a pair of red headlight covers...and as long as the dash is complete and still "in shape" as in no huge raised up cracks it should be OK for my purposes...

As with any race car, Remove weight, add engine cooling.

do yourself a favor

1. dont get too attached to the car being nice

2. make a theme and have fun with it

3. start collecting craigslist ads now of cars that run and are $500 or less- you need 10 for your AIV. average internet value

4. build one good motor that will last and replace everything.

5. make sure your cooling is perfect and all your hoses are tied up....well you know why.
