Default 924S LSD or not? Mass air unit info?

I just picked up an auto-crossed / track day '87 924S and when I jacked up the rear, in neutral, both wheels spin in the direction as the other is being turned which leads me to think it is a LSD.

Now, when I had my Dad hold one wheel while I turn the other wheel, it turns rather easy, even though he is holding it still.

I have a 85 Mustang gt with an auburn gear and a 65 fastback with a 9" track-loc unit, it really takes some force for it to be turned and one wheel being held.

Is the stock Porsche a helical/torsen unit? Where is the actual ID numbers on the trans axle? Where is a list of codes for a LSD trans axle?

I figured for $500, it has that much in wheels alone. The hoosiers are dry rotted. It has some Mass air unit and adjuster box on it. A nice ceramic coated header also. 5 point bolt in cage. The Simpson 5 pt harness are 1998 exp. date code. It has koni coil overs. I don't know if it runs.

And, the even better deal is I picked up a 86 944 AND 87 944 for $900 from the same guy.

I has a 924s that we race lemons with and one of these cars will probably get turned into another lemons car.

I am a welder fabricator and I plan on making a few of that style header and a few of the roll bars to sell.
