Any info on this 924 race car
Hi all,
I may be purchasing this car in the pictures. All I know is that the owner died a week after getting the car and he was quite a 924/944/968 enthusiast.
I am not sure if it runs or anything. It has a 2.5 NA, koni suspension, and some weird MAF unit on it. Tires are dry rotted.
I saw the PCA decal and wondered if anybody knew the car. I think it was an autocross car since it is only a 4 point bolt in cage.
My only experience is with my[our] lemons 924S [5 races], so I am getting to know the quirks. I am not even sure what I will do with the car. I may also be purchasing 2 other 944 with this one for more parts for our lemons car.
Thanks All!
Pete

Haven't seen it. What country, state, etc. are you in? Might help with sourcing more information. Looks like the car has some good parts on it. In particular I like the wheels.

I don't recall ever seeing it.
It looks pretty rough and doesn't currently meet the rules (only has a roll bar, not a roll cage). Also looks like the clutch pedal is stuck on the floor...
Unless it's $1000, be very careful... a good used race car can be a bargain, but a bad used race car will cost more than converting a street car.
