Not bad, not bad! Would love to see the magic 400 number, but realistically you're seeing what most of the people who have done the swap end up with for similar mods.

No sense in revving it higher, your HP has already peaked. I'm sure you'll get a few more out of it with a correct a/f ratio, and probably a few more if you have someone play with your timing, but you're in the ballpark. Enjoy!

Congrats! Is that dyno chart RWHP? If so, 366hp looks to be about 430 crank... and you have the same mods I have done to my engine that will be dropped in this winter!

Diyman25, that TR224 cam is really flat, I doubt you'll get more than 340rwhp with it...

I saw an article a while back where a magazine put an LS2 onto an engine dyno (when it was a new motor, in 2004) and got the rated 400HP out of it, then did nothing but swap in a cam by Livernois motorsports and run it again, they got 494HP...I think it was this one.

I had a 224 cam in my LS1, best I could get is 337rwhp. An LS2 will make more, they have a bigger throttle body, intake manifold and 0.3 more liters of displacement. That cam still won't add 95hp though.

It does look pretty mild. See here for what I was talking about, if you're interested.

A 224 cam is pretty mild, but your results were pretty unusual docwyte. Wasn't tonyg making almost 400 with a 224 cam?

There is much more to a cam than the duration.

Never get any real dyno session

I be happy if I make over 330whp

Still way better then stock 968

Btw how often people change their valve spring in their 948 ?

I am going to change comp cam 925 dual spring pretty soon

Might upgrade new cam at end of this year
