Nice looking example and excellent photos.

I'm sure you will enjoy it. Any plans to track it?

one of the few cars i regret selling is the gray S2 i sold to my brother in 06. the M roadster i have now is a nice substitute for the road, but not the track.

I absolutely love my S2.

With an exhaust they have an intoxicating sound.

I definitely should plan on getting an exhaust .... This car will see many autocrosses, and as I can afford another car this will hopefully become a full time track toy, but for now, she's my daily driver!

This biggest issue i'm having with this thing is heel toe shifting.. I cannot for the life of me reach the gas pedal to rev match with my heel, or toe... I'm not on the brakes like i'm on the track by any means but would like to downshift smoothly while braking. do you guys have any suggestions as far as daily driving downshifting is concerned?...

Could you recommend a good exhaust for the S2?

I've only AX'd mine once so far, but the gearing and torque is nearly perfect. Lots of fun for sure! I'm taking it to the track for the second time next weekend. First time was OK, but now I have fresh Koni sports, new castor blocks, and a proper alignment - really looking forward to it!

It took me a while to get the hang of heel-toe with this car (and I'm not an expert regardless), but after some seat time it has become pretty routine. It has a nice, firm brake pedal with helps a lot IMO.

My exhaust is a stock 951 catback and a homemade test pipe.

Super cheap and easy to make. Not to loud and doesn't have the drone of some aftermarket exhausts.

i found that i have to place my big toe on the brake pedal and roll the side of my foot on to the gas pedal to reach when heel toe downshifting, atleast with my size 11-12 shoe.
