Default Feeler: WTT 951 front end & sport seats

Not sure I am going to go down this path, but figured I would put a feeler thread out there for the things I might want to trade:

1) A complete 951 font end in red: fenders, headlight covers, headlight surrounds, header panel, bumper cover, bumper support, fog lights, turn signals, bat wing (torn), fender liners (drivers good, passenger torn). All of the parts you would need to convert a 944 to a 951 front end.

2) Tan sport seats, can do front and rear, but the seats are best used as a recovery project.

3) Black 951 Phone Dials (early offset) - Tires are dry rotted and should not be driven on. $400

4) 16x7 911 Fuchs and 16x9 Replica Fuchs - Would work on a regular 944, or would need spacers on the front fit an 86 951. Painted Black Centers and Polished Lips. $750 obo

What I am looking for in trade:

- Fibgerglass seats
- 944 fenders
- 931 header panel
- 924 GTS hood scoop
- 931 hood
- 924 GTS front bumper
- turbo back exhaust
- crossover pipe
- gauges (wide band 02, boost, oil temp)

depending what someone had to trade I could offer up cash with the deal, or cash might be coming my way. Because of the size of these items local(ish) to Charlotte is going nessesary.

so you are parting it out. I do need a header panel and front bumper cover. I am also in need of a passenger side mirror. Too bad the car isnt black. I have a stock turbo back exhaust in decent shape, no rust.

Nope, not parting it out. Car is too solid for that.

haha, dream on !

The GT/GTS stuff is uber rare and uber expensive..or at least if you want quality replica parts. if you want originals...you're in another league.

I understand the attraction towards the GTS front end....but its not going to be a true and complete GTS look unless you cut up the rears and install GT/GTS rear flares. and since you've got a solid 951...i dont understand why mess with it. Use the money/time to redo the seats and get some propper 17/18" wheels and rubber and you've got a very nice looking car.

AFAIK He is not chopping up the 951, he is modding a 924SE..

Would love some front end body panels mine are beat, but no money! Good Luck!

I don't want original parts, because you are 100% correct, that stuff in unobtanium. I would be looking for quality replica pieces. The front bumper seems to be the most difficult item to source as most of the parts I have seen look way off.

As for putting 17s or 18s on this car, odds are that isn't going to happen, I have two sets of fuchs and I happen to love fuchs on the 951. And now that I can find 245/45/16s I am more likely to stick with them. Nothing wrong with bigger wheels, but for this particular car the light weight wheel and tire combo seems to be the best fit. And then if it, or the 924S evolve into a GTS replica I already have the perfect wheels.

I don't exactly need/want any of that stuff to trade, but I do have a set of fiberglass 944 front fenders I'd like to sell/trade for something.... Any interest?

On the black phone dials, are you looking to trade for other wheels or just the parts listed in your first post?

At this point I don't think I have a need a need for the fiberglass fenders.

For the phone dials I would consider other wheels on trade.
