Default Anybody interested in a beautiful blue 968 for $3500?

http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/3130452027.html

It is very near me, so I can take a closer look at it if someone is interested.

Dark blue 1992 968. Runs and drives, but needs some work. No rust. Clear coat flaking in spots. 92,000 miles. AC doesn't work and has a tiptronic rattle. Radio not working. Gray interior. Had planned on restoring but don't have the time. Just had starter replaced. Replaced battery. Email to arrange a time to see and I will get right back with you. I will be posting several pictures later tonight so check back. $3500. The VIN number is WP0AA2960NS820272

States in the CL posting that it has a tiptronic rattle, so it is safe to say that it is not a 6 speed car.

Still a great deal, if I had the garage space I would buy it just for my 924 GTS project..... Anyone want to split it? I get the motor / ECU / ETC, other buyer gets everything else?

Great deal! Even with the issues I would probably buy it in a second.

Do tiptronic and manual 968's use the same DME? a guy I was talking to locally who wanted to convert his tip to manual implied it was different.

If it was a 90k mile 92 shark, my post would have looked a little different. Something along the lines of "Look at this 928 I bought for $3500." :-)

Looks like this will be gone by the end of the day- will it be a Rennlist project?

Agreed if it were a 6-spd...
