Anybody know what sensor goes in this hole?

In the second photo
The 2 reference sensors
But there is a hole underneath them
Anybody know what that sensor is called?
I thought it was a knock sensor, but the knock sensor has a hole in the middle for the bolt and this one clearly is off set, similar to the reference sensors.
