Looks like a 911, but if someone did the with a 944....I'd be all over it! Not sure if it's the Outlaw look cole was looking for, but definitely a nice track/AutoX car!

I'd like to know what the hose in the driver's footwell is for. Goes into the frame!?!? Does it feed all the way to the engine, or rear brakes? If so, pretty slick!
Just noticed it has shaved driprails too. Like the Ruf boostknob too. Anyone know whats in the center of the console? A stopwatch?
I'm not sure giving the passenger complete control of the HVAC is a good idea though.....
Take care!

Does this qualify?

Good question. A better question would be, what makes an "outlaw" when it comes to a 944/951? Is a Porsche motor a requirement? If not, look no further than the V-8 conversions as "outlaws". The next step with any of those is the updating the looks in some hot rodding style.

The rear lip is actually just part of a mounting base for a 968 rear wing that I ran on another car previously.
We're due to install a proper big race wing as it's a race car so it won't stay like this any more. In fact it will be changing again quite a lot, but I thought for this thread it deserved it's place in that guise as it's the closest it will be to an Outlaw.

Can we have more detail on your fuel setup please Patrick? Looks like you've cut out the cubby on one side - still using the original tank or a fuel cell mounted in it's place? I can see two inline filters from the base of the swirl tank, and one pump? Where is that duct going?

Sorry Charlie, missed your questions. The spare wheel well has been chopped and raised from the bottom by about 3-4". A metal floor has been fitted where the swirl tank, Ethanol % sensor, filters and 2x 044 pumps sit. There is another 044 in the stock location. We retained the original fuel tank. The ducting runs to the LHS 1/4 panel and then down through the floor to a fan forced trans oil cooler.
