Theoretically, yes... I'd be interested in finding out.

Well tonight at like 10 after the car show, on a whim we decided to dip the top half of my bud's audi tt... Well we finally got finished about an hour ago (like 1:00am hahaha). Took us 3 cans and 3 hours of work lol. WORTH IT.

Apologize for the picture quality... The gas station was the only decently lit place in town this late at night.

PS: his audi is for sale if anyone's interested.. really clean nice car.

We also painted the bottom halves of my bud's bmw's side mirrors tonight.

How easy is it to clean brake dust off Plasti Dip coated wheels? Does the dust stick to the plasti dip or does it wash off easily?

Why would you purposely make a car look like it has a softtop

I think I just found a cheap way to fix my tahoe's peeling paint problem! Will try it out on my extra set of 964 d90 wheels first!

I'm going to do my wheels today, I saw youtube vids of entire cars and they actually look great. Down side is how long does it last? So far I've heard a year.

I had actually been planning on doing mine blue just to see how they would look. Couldn't find any in town, just black so did them in black. I still want to do the inner lip of the holes and maybe the rim a different color, while, blue, red or yellow is what I'm thinking. First I need to see if paint will even stick.

I didn't wait between coats, just did really thin coats. I did two at a time and threw them back on soon as they weren't sticky (maybe 10-20 minutes). No masking as the tires already have overspray on them and the plasti dip actually scrapes/rolls off pretty easily.

This was the first personal vehicle that I ever got stuck...

It's such a blast to drive on dirt/gravel that I just can't resist, especially the twisty dirt roads in the mountains.
