God_ Bot your wheels turned out nice, but looking at your image page motor photos, the small fuel line jumper (damper to rail) looks cracked. Please change that fire hazard if so.

Snow is a blast in these cars... salt not so much.

Taking it off road to a prime airsoft location packed full of kids and gear... Sadly now the car is way too low and has too nice rims+tires to do this with oh well, WORTH IT.

Good call, I had honestly forgotten about that. I originally thought I was getting it with my lines and when I realized that I didn't I had to wait until I had another $100 to spend. I'll order it when I get home tonight.

This car had 232k miles put on in Colorado, the salt has gotten behind the paint in two corners but everything is still solid. It's getting cleaned up soon as I plan on painting the whole car in a month or two.

Good luck if you order from Dipyourcar.com. I've been waiting weeks now. They replied to my email last week fairly quickly claiming high demand and a back order. They issued a UPS tracking number yesterday but UPS doesn't have it in their system yet. So clearly it hasn't shipped yet.

10/2/12 update: My order shipped last night. UPS is saying delivery tomorrow.

I just bought a 1986 944 with paint that's badly faded. Since I don't have the cash right now for a proper paint job I plan to plasti-dip the whole car. Haven't decided on red or black yet but I'm excited!

To those painting cars, do you plan on using the glossifier spray? By the way it's different than the clear spray, which has a matte finish rather than a glossy finish. Remember to grab the camera!

Your argument is invalid. Because plastidip CAN'T physically decrease your car's value- that's the point of it peeling off!

hopefully it doesn't ruin the paint underneath! has he peeled it off yet?

And yes destroying the Saab was totally worth it! haha You wouldn't believe what you can hold on with zip ties!

Apparently prolonged exposure of plasti-dip on the paint can damage the clear coat, or so I have heard.

I'm sure Arizona heat isn't helping that
