Thanks. Is it possible a bad MAF could cause such poor running conditions the engine is not able to create vacuum? 0 vacuum while idling from all gauges, even one spliced under the hood to watch while Im inspecting!

Today I installed a used but "supposedly" working OE AFM. Results were the same although I do not have a J-boot to connect the AFM to the turbo inlet. I would think the idle would alter slightly had that been the culprit but nothing different. I know loose or cracked j-boots can create some erratic changes so now Im contemplating purchasing a J-boot or to continue my hunt elsewhere.

To get a better understanding, the engine cranks after maybe 5-10 seconds of cranking and idles at 200-300 rpms (lower than the first small notch on the tachometer) but will run this way for maybe 2 minutes. All vacuum gauges are reading atmospheric pressure.

Next I will be changing the intake manifold gaskets and pressurizing the intake system. Shes been down for over a month now after the wash and its killing me! Sad

Any further diagnostic tips or hints would be great.
