Default Who has the best looking... engine

So, i've noticed that we have a "Who has got the most beautiful Porsche 944 here???" thread and "The Official 924/44/68 Wheel Thread" but no love for the motor. Since several users, myself included, are in the process of swapping motors, how about some motivation/inspiration?

Ernie in 3.... 2.... 1.....

UPDATE:

ok, it's Sunday... (and he drives his car to get coffee, donuts and Sunday paper every 10th or 11th Sunday)....

and also it's spring, and the sun is out, so it may be a few minutes yet....

the rest of the time he stands in front of his car admiring his handiwork... (or bends over with his magnifying glass....
toothbrush and other fine-tuning equipment extending from rear jeans pocket), ready to do more polishing....

Definitely not the best, but always had plenty of people stop and look when i have the hood open at the track..

Now that i think about it they were probably just in awe at how much **** is going on under the hood .

Here's mine. Nothing special but not to shabby, either.

Go down a couple of threads and look at Henk's engine. Game, set, match.

Talking

Always did like clean engine bays on any P cars i've own.Kind of over done it on my ex 83-944,so trying to keep the 968 as original as possible.968/with a little over 50K miles -944 had 135 k miles when pics were taken not perfect but clean.

Certainly not the best, but not embarrassing like it used to be! Quite a bit has changed since this pic, need to get some new ones.
