Default Hello from Philadelphia and an offer to anyone close.

Hello everyone I am a long time lurker but this is my first post. I recently acquired a 1983 Porsche 944. It runs but needs a ton of work. It may actually be to much work, but we will see.
Since this is my first Porsche and my first attempt at a restoration of this size.
I am very fortunate to have a large garage with almost every tool I will need for body work and for engine repair.

Here is a link to my youtube channel it has a video of the garage and of the car of course.

I am hoping to find some people in the Philadelphia area who would be interested in helping me work on my car in exchange for who knows we will figure it out. So feel free to contact me an we can set something up.

Thanks for looking
Ralph

I'd be interested in just watching a bit and lending a hand. My knowledge is limited to easy things (basic ignition, brakes, odds and ends)...

ALSO Ralph.. I would recommend finding a set of the factory service manuals... and NOT the scanned in PDF available online..

I have tried using that on occasion, and it is MUCH easier to use the printed manuals.. so much so I own 2 sets (one for each car)... alternatively, find a local who has them, and is willing to loan them out (or bring them along).

Phili is a bit far, but depending on just how bored I get I could be persuaded to drive up for a weekend... Im in Richmond VA...
