Default 1988 924S Coil Over Conversion

went "inexpensive" put the Ground Control coil over conversion on my 924 S. Cut a hole in the panel on both sides to remove the t-bars, saves a bunch of time.

This reminded me of something I saw once in a junkyard on a 924 2.0L....someone had made coilovers for the back, but simply made spring perches out of 2 "U" brackets clamped tightly around the shock body. Ever seen that before?

Interested in pics also. Why not just remove the torsion bars properly, without cutting the body?

Will post a better pic. It's a race car, lot less labor time - $$$. The hole is in the rocker panel and was done cleanly with a hole saw.

What size were the t-bars you removed? And are you selling them? Need 30's for a spec car.

They're not here, they're at the shop but I think they're the standard, wasn't it 23.5/mm??
