I think we'll do like in high school. Once it's time to call it a day, and we've had our fun run...the bad boys will sneak back out for a night run, lol! (I need shocks first before I can come out and play rough though...*sigh*)

It never goes away man, lol! It IS about the time and place though. AMH and I were, well...I mostly. The second no one was around and we could see, oh...it was on.

Irony? Averaged 18 mpg and had my foot planted in her most of the time. (and hit top speed for a bit). (safely of course)

ya ya ya. I had a female passenger with me that I didn't want to scare too bad, so I was holding back a little bit. Plus, if anything bad WERE to happen, it would be my responsibility to keep her safe. I try to be a responsible person at times. Key word TRY ;-) Hahaha.

Tell ya what though, I firmly believe that my car definitely had power loss from the different altitude than what my car normally runs at. A lot of the time it felt like it was being choked out. Got back up in my area and the power felt perfectly fine. It is chipped. I wonder if the chip tune is set for the altitude range that I am in? Hmmmm.

What was your topped out speed by the way? I've done 136, and still had a decent amount of leg and power left before letting off.

I hit 130 and then backed off. Car was great, but knowing that I needed new shocks all around, I didn't do it for very long since well, ya not having shocks up to spec makes for an unforgiving situation. (for the record and those reading this though; it was a perfect straightaway with perfect road and weather conditions with very few other cars on the road since this was for sure in god's country (yee haw). I think I had two cars go by the entire time I did it. (with amh behind me just in case).

Best part was when we got to the place I checked her out. No coolant leaks, no oil leaks. Nada. Perfection.

I'd have to be in someone else's car to know the sounds to familiarize myself with before pushing further. Though, I can't see her really doing more since she isn't chipped. And prolly the automatic thing.
