Some one slammed into me last night, what do you think the insurance company will say.
Well insurance totaled it.
the inside doesnt look too bad. Think its fixable, just need some panels .

Looks to me like you were rear ended... What exactly is your question?
It clearly won't buff out... to fix it right will probably require some frame straightening, some body work and some replacement parts.
Cost will depend on quality of repair.
But, I'm sorry it happened - it does suck.

what ever hit you must of sat high because your bumper doesn't even look pushed in.
not sure what they will say. did your hatch shatter or just pop up and how many body panels are crushed?
sorry for your luck hope it all works out ok for you.
this kind of crap scare me every time i drive especially since i have fiberglass bumpers.

check the doors and sunroof for how they open/close, those are good indicators of frame condition. hatch too. if they all seem ok then the car is probably ok and repairable...if not your tub is toast.
that said it looks like your bumper wasn't even touched aside from a scratch, that is where the actual frame is. the rest is just sheetmetal attached to the frame and should be fixable/replaceable.

As in most blogs I've sadly read on Rear Enders like this, the insurance companies total the cars, payoff the vicitim (you) and then you buy the car back and part it out. It's emotionally painful if you loved the car but with the money you can accrue, you can buy another one. Condolences and good luck
