From: one thousand, five hundred miles north of Ft. Lauderdale for the summer.
that idea is brilliant. or just sell him the motor and start over with another car.... (i also think Karl should just drive the stink out of his new engine and let the chips fall where they may).....
back to your car; the truth is, even if fixed, it will be still be virtually worthless (compared to the original sticker). the same would be true about my car or anyone else's here.... due to the very low book values and nature of the injury and repairs (because there's plenty good tubs out there and extremely low demand)... this car is a total loss. i know it's hard, but you have to take the money, let it go and move on.

How well do your doors close?
If they close, no extra gaps ect, just replace the back end. If they have issues shutting, chassis is most likely bent so you'll need a new body
Good luck

oh yes, I love the 968 rear conversion. I was talking with a guy on another forum. Turns out he just sold his 951 with rear end damage. Cheap. Talk about bad timing and having excactly what I want...just not at the right time. lol!

Im looking for a back panel to replace and I am leaning really heavily to the 968 conversion.
