Here's same tires, on my old cookie cutters.

I have Yokohama ES100's 225/50 squared on my spare set of Fuchs. Look good and ride great when I use them.

Most people don't like the thicker side walls these days, but whatever.
At 225/60 tires will be 0.4" taller and speedo read be 2% low. And all your gears will behave as if they are 2% taller.
My guess is the taller wheels will handle worse but who knows, the extra 10mm in width might make up for the more compliant tire.

I only have one shot of my S handy with 15s (It now has a square 7" set of 968 16s):

I use to run 225 in the rear and 215 in the front. When I bought tires this summer I went 215/60 all around (stock). I really didnt notice a difference in how it rode/drove. I'm now on 255 40 17 rear and 235 45 17 in front on cup 3s. It fills out the fenders nice, so you may want to look into some 17"s. There are way more tire choices with 17" rims. I'll probably end up going back to my PDs after I refinish them, and sell the 17"s to Butters. I like the stock look.
