Ok then let me introduce you the fun & pleasure of changing the oil & filter on your 951.First you'll have to get the rigth filter which is Mahle OC-142 part# 944-017-201-08 M87 & then the only tool for removing 944s oil filter that does the job without you swearing your heart of.The 951 has 3 under belly pans,first one is what we call the batwing (no need to remove that one) second one is a plastic pan (middle one) & finally the third one (aluminium) those two has to come out.Pay attention to how they come out so you can put them back in.From the top remove your coil wire & shove it aside so that you'll have room to get to the filter,stuff as much paper towels around the filter before breaking it loose otherwise you'll have a mess & oil all over the floor,cover your steering boot (passenger side) so no oil get on it & finally also cover your fender since the oil filter will be coming from the top.LOl who say changing oil & filter was easy on a 944/968.Here are some pics to help you out with this easy job.Told you to stick with Hondas.

all the under plastics are removed from my car, it is SLAMMED on a full coilover suspension so all that stuff ripped off along time ago (i dont love it but i do at the same time) i have a k&n filter on there now with a little bolt head nub like thing on the top to take it off and i ordered some Bosch 72158 off ebay so id have a couple backups, im gonna go get a filter srench that will fit these before i put it on... i was debating on taking it to a jiffy lube or somehting liek that since i have the oil n filter and just watching them do it since i dont trust them but i dont have a garage and might just be overall easier to do it that way, and maybe throw em a couple bucks and see if i can get under it and do the tranny stuff, if not ill need to get a lowdown jack and some more stands and do it myself

a new "batwing"/lip will be my next purchase after i do all this little maintenece

completely off topic, but have any of you removed the 2 black rectangle plastic pieces from the rear bumper and just covered the holes and left them off? my car needs paint so a little body work isnt a problem since ill be stripping and prepping anyway for a spring paint

It's been done. I'm curious to know how, too.

I left my bumpers on the rear, but removed the front ones. I like the look they add to the rear but somehow feel they take away from the dynamics of the front.

read the op and 2nd post; then go straight to post #66 and #67;

the second post is the great irony of the Soviets telling America what had happened to JFK....

at post #66, i demonstrate clearly that more than 3 shots were fired at JFK's limousine....

at post #67 i demonstrate that the long list of convenient violent deaths (that have happened to the witnesses of the assassination) were the result of an assassination program, i post the testimony of one of the witnesses to the assassination program .... that the chances of even a few of the witnesses being dead within a given time frame numbers in more than 1 in the millions of trillions....

got lots of support from a good number of the Rennlisters. seemingly drowned out by the troll/plebs.

such is the experience of life.

the mods messed with the poll, adding choice #4;

for best results, read post #66 carefully and then make your choice in the poll.

in post # 78, i explain that some of the Warren Commission's members were not a united group;

in post #98, i provide a short list of which the likely financiers, planners, and gunman likely would have been.

in any case, with the help of the moderators, when it comes to attempting to have a rational, mature discussion about the murder of our 35th president trolling is welcome. i made a reasonable case, and several members thanked me both on the thread and with pm's.....

the pm's i got, and many of the posts on the thread in support of my efforts completely rocked. but the majority, (and clearly we are the majority) are bullied into silence on Rennlist. that's what we are asked to put up with after paying our membership.

one more thing.... to clarify, i mentioned in post # 67 there was an assassination program to kill witnesses and other individuals with knowledge of the assassination. @ post #151,

https://rennlist.com/forums/politics...t-78-a-11.html

Green Beret Dan Marvin explains his participation in a CIA sponsored assassination progam and provides details of one of the kills; he lays out the disappearance of David Vannick of Special Forces after he volunteered to assassinate US Navy Lieutenant Commander William B. Pitzer...
