I for one, like the squared look.
Well, if you think about it the 968 is an early 70s look (a.k.a. Lamborghini Miura) and no I never liked squared headlights on anything, it makes the 944 look like a Nissan 300ZX.

If you update the headlight look the classic lines of the 944 update themselves!

I reckon there's room for both. The classic look is very period correct and yet there are updates to our cars that don't look out of place. It's totally subjective of course.

I love the fact that you can offer different colors for the bucket. Once you get this set ready to sell let me know. Im on the market for two sets.

Any thoughts about doing a concave cover and fixed lights for 968s? Using a round light source?
Thanks

No more progress on the bucket but the right side cover is looking good and the left side is almost ready too.
Please let me know your impression.
On the first pics, the flash really shows the bend.

Thanks

I did some work on the headlight project today
I’m happy with the covers; there is a small gap on either side which allow for adjustment.
The progress on the buckets is not as fast, but I believe that I’m on the right track.
I’m hoping to get everything done and ready for sale by May.

Thanks

Little done this week-end on the GTS project
I’m still working on the development for the buckets and will more then likely go fibreglass instead of plastic as originally intend.
I am working on 2 different designs and hope to be able to offer both.
Also still working on the covers, I like the one shown previously,
but I am trying to develop a squarer and tighter one so it look more like the original one.
I will keep you update with pics if I manage to do something better.

Thanks

Loving these and enjoying the build process. Keep us updated! If the final price is under 300 I could swing for a set with red buckets and clear tint.

Your bucket design looks a different than oem one. Here's pictures of my unfinished GTS bucket molds.

Wow! Thanks for the pics.
Did you take those pics your self? I mean, have you seen an original kit before?
If yes, can you tell me more about it?
How the covers are made?
Do they fold “wrap” all around like mine?
Are the buckets like yours, with a lip all around?
How are they mounting?

Thanks
