Default Early sunroof gearbox removal

Hello again...

My sunroof does not work. Troubleshooting has got it down to the gear box. So it's time to get it out and bench test it. I can't find any instructions on removing the early style box. I've searched here, Clarks and pelican. All of them seem to be focused on the late style. I need the get everything off the cable and out of the cargo area without breaking anything. Are there any tricks I should be looking out for?

Everything you need to know is on this site: http://www.clarks-garage.com/

Go to Workshop Manual > S > Sunroof

its pretty easy to drop out and not quite as hard to figure out as the later style. I have a full early assy. if you break something laying in the garage. Pull the cover in the center as it only has one gear that does both sides w/ a cable going from the center to each side as well like a 911. Just be sure you put the allans back in the same spot they came out if you pull them since two are shorter and if you swap them you'll have dings in your roof- ask me how i know.

Yeah, I went to Clarks, but I didn't see the step-by-step for removing the early gearbox/motor assembly off the cable and out of the hatch area. I can figure it out I'm sure, I just wanted some advice. Thanks.
