Hi Robby, Do you have a Cable Kit for the 968 or will the 944 kit work?

Cheers,
Larry

How about you post a picture and a parts list together so everyone knows what they're getting. I might be interested.

So would this be along the lines of what we call in the stereo world as "the big 3"? It almost sounds like it according to your parts list up top.

Like said above, can you post a pic of the kit Robby? Also, looks like a lot of people are interested, think you could do a group buy? Thanks!

Got my cable kit from Robby today and let me tell you my friends, this is one seriously quality piece of kit.

If I were an electron, getting to ride on Robby's harness would be darn near as exciting as me seeing an unrestricted sign on the autobahn

Hi, guys.
I have an IceShark cable kit just for the starter and grounds from the battery with terminals. I'm not able to post in the marketplace section as the car is gone now and I'm no longer a member... It's been too long. I don't mean to offend, but if anyone can give the cables a good home, just PM an offer and they're yours. Safety first! These are great cables!
Robby - I hope you're not offended that I add this to your awesome effort / thread.

Long time...no post. I sold my 951 long ago, but still drop in every few weeks. I had one of the early "IceShark" kits and can attest to it's fabulous-ness. Nice to see that Dan's work and ideas are still kickin'....

First post here gents,I have a 93 968 that I've almost completely restored.
So here goes,

I so happy that I stumbled onto this thread as the gremlins have starting to show their symptoms as of late, my mechanic has recently informed me that my cables are toast, this after installing a new oem alternator and exploring the possibility of installing an adjustable voltage regal to that would provide 14.4 amps to compensate for the losses between the charging system and battery. I've PM'ed Robbie and await his reply to order one of his kits.

Has anyone installed Robbie's kit with the adjustable volt regulator?
Thanks for the help.
Best,
Frank

Hey Frank,
I've got a 968 as well and had an issue with the cable between the starter and alternator. I had a spare around so I just replaced it. If you don't have any luck with Robby I could send you me core so you would have something to rebuild off of or I might have another decent used cable. Assuming your car has the same issues.
